Polyols in energy-reduced confectionery

COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2021/1175 of 16 July 2021 amending Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the use of polyols in certain energy-reduced confectionery products at quantum satis.

Please note that it is still necessary to indicate the possible laxative effect of polyols on the label if polyols represent more than 10% of the ingredients. The regulation enters into force on 8 August 2021.
