Great news from Faravelli food application laboratory: our formulators have developed FARAburger, a tasty alternative to the classic meat burger; a product designed for consumers who are more careful about the impact on the environment and animals of everything we eat, starting with meat.
The "plant-based meat" category also known as "fake meat" is rapidly growing and responds to the new needs and sensitivities of an increasingly wide range of customers.
The recipe of FARAburger is 100% vegetable, but it looks like meat.
Made with a special functional system from the FARA® line (FARAMIX), it is not like the veggie burgers that are on the market right now - it's so much more!
Better yet, it has much less: far fewer calories (at least 50%) and far less fat, in fact zero!
Not only that. It is very juicy in spite of the absence of fats; it has a neutral taste (soy is not perceived at all), without aromas; it is therefore very adaptable in flavor. The structure is very similar to the classic meat burger, without syneresis (loss of liquid).
The FARAmix is an excellent functional system to obtain a "meat-not-meat" (burgers, meatballs, sausages) with visual characteristics and compactness to the touch very similar to traditional meat.
A food that is not only good and high in protein, but also an ally of environmental sustainability (less greenhouse gas emissions, less impact on land use, less energy and water consumption).
